The night before Thanksgiving, Tom Tharion, who is only 44, suffered several massive strokes. He was at BMC for two months and is currently at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Boston. Tom will likely be undergoing rehabilitation for years.
Tom works for General Electric and his wife, Melissa, works for Dufour Bus Company. They live in Lenox with their 14 year-old son. All proceeds from this benefit will help Tom's family defray the significant costs associated with his recovery.
